Get ready to strike out gluten at Fenway and hit a home run for the Celiac Community!
On May 17th, the Red Sox are sharing their first-ever Celiac Awareness Night when they take on the Atlanta Braves at Fenway Park in Boston!
They will celebrate Celiac advocates, snacking safely with a gluten-friendly concession stand, and donating a portion of each ticket to the Celiac Disease Foundation to support Celiac Disease Foundation grants for the Boston area Hospitals and Celiac Disease College Scholarships.
Today on the podcast, Isabella Digregorio, an Account Executive with the Boston Red Sox, joins me to share how she is invested in this event, personally and professionally, and how we can all strike out gluten at Fenway.

How do you fill your gluten-free cup?
Unfortunately, hidden gluten sneaks into drinks that we might grab every day. Our cup is just as important to keep GF safe as our plate.
No worries! There are easy ways that you CAN boost your health - just by what you fill your cup with all day.
My drinks have definitely changed over the years since I started my GF journey - and that alone made a huge difference in my health. I increased my daily water intake and started a smoothie habit which helped improve my energy, skin, sleep, and cravings.
I can honestly say that I feel a difference in my body on days I drink a smoothie and when I don’t (which is not often anymore!).
I can have a smoothie for breakfast, and not once go hunting for a morning snack! Some days I don’t even know it’s lunchtime, because I still don't feel hungry. That in itself was huge for me as I used to snack all morning.
Smoothies can be much more satisfying than we thought!

I get it - think about children pushing broccoli or Brussels sprouts off their plates. Often this habit stays with us in adulthood - bad memories about veggies!
There are many ways to prepare greens and veggies to enjoy them! Maybe you’re just not cooking them the right way yet!
Today I am sharing why we need greens, especially on our gluten-free plate, the benefits of greens, the multiple greens out there to try, and different ways to add them to your plate.
